In partnership with The SBI Foundation under their Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program (LEAP) project, Syngenta Foundation India continues its mission to enhance the income of smallholder farmers through agri-entrepreneurship. April 2025 witnessed a series of impactful activities and milestones across the project geographies.

- 305 Active AEs (including 97 women AEs)
- 42 New AEs incubated during April
- Farmer Engagement & Impact
- 36,581 Farmers onboarded through AEDD
- Of these, 10,974 were female farmers (30% of total)
- 91,452 acres served through AE interventions
- 34 Nursery structures delivered and 25 installations completed
- 13 Farmer Demonstration Plots (FDPs) closed
- 49 farmer meetings conducted by AEMs and 38 meetings conducted by AEs with farmers
- Financial & Grant Support
- 8 AEs received grant support
- 36 AEs’ archetypes inspected by PCs for grant evaluation
- ODK Survey completed by AEMs in 6 blocks across 2 districts, covering 24 AEs and 192 farmers
The month of April reinforced the project’s commitment to capacity building and grassroots enterprise development, marking a steady move toward income resilience for India’s smallholder farmers.
