Operations Manager for Business Correspondent (BC) Back-Office 

The Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end back-office operations for Business Correspondent (BC) agents. This role ensures seamless onboarding, compliance, reporting, and customer support while maintaining alignment with RBI guidelines and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BC Onboarding & Documentation:
    • Create and manage BC IDs for all agents, ensuring accurate data entry into banking systems.
    • Verify and process required documents for BC registration, adhering to RBI Compliance Standards.
    • Coordinate with the FIs to finalize approvals and integrate BCs into the banking network.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Management
    • Ensure BC agents comply with RBI guidelines, including transaction limits and service protocols.
    • Conduct periodic audits of BC activities, such as KYC adherence, cash handling, and fraud prevention measures.
    • Maintain records for audit trails and regulatory reporting.
  • Customer & BC Query Resolution
    • Address BC and customer inquiries related to account opening, loan applications, transaction disputes, and technical issues.
    • Escalate complex issues and track resolutions.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Generate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reports covering: Transaction volumes (deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers), BC performance metrics (e.g., new accounts opened, loan applications processed), Compliance status and discrepancies.
    • Analyse trends to optimize BC productivity and identify training needs.
  • Operational Support & Training
    • Develop training modules for BC agents on banking products, digital tools, and compliance protocols.
    • Manage BC commission payouts based on transaction volumes and bank agreements.

Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in banking operations, BC management, or back-office roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and banking software. Knowledge of AEPS, NEFT, IMPS, and other banking transactions.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
