Empowering Rural Communities through Agri-Entrepreneurship
June marked another month of strong progress under the SBI Foundation supported Agri-Entrepreneurship initiative in Jhabua and Dhar. With continuous incubation efforts, farmer engagement, convergence with government schemes, and focused groundwork for the upcoming Kharif season, the project is steadily advancing towards its annual milestones. The month also saw strategic support through nursery structures, grant disbursement, and archetype activation, reaffirming the project’s commitment to strengthening grassroots livelihoods.
Key Highlights – June 2025
- Incubation: 21 new Agri-Entrepreneurs onboarded in June, taking the total to 246 AEs.


- Business Plans: 37 business plans developed for credit linkage; 209 more planned for July.
- Grant Support: 44 AEs applied; 19 received disbursements post-inspection.
- Nurseries & FDPs: 36 nurseries booked and 21 FDPs completed; more scheduled in July.
- Farmer Outreach: 103 farmer meetings conducted, reaching 2,477 new farmers this month.
- Convergence: 3.39 MT soybean seed worth ₹3.02 lakh distributed to 105 farmers via KVK Dhar.


- Kharif Preparations: 10 demo plots identified for implementation in July, covering allied, nursery, and protected farming themes.
- Transactions: ₹1.41 Cr worth of transactions recorded in June, with goatery, digital banking, and agri-inputs leading the way.
