The IRise program continues to expand its presence across India by empowering rural youth through skill-based training and establishing institutional linkages. In July 2025, the program experienced rapid expansion in training activities, government engagement, and state-level outreach, leading to the initiation of new batches in key regions.
Key Highlights – July 2025
- Project Implementation Strengthened: Demonstrations were conducted, AE shops inaugurated, and team building enhanced
- Training Rollout: Over 200 candidates trained in July across Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and West Bengal.
- Field Exposure: 3 field training batches completed, providing on-ground practical experience to aspiring Agri Entrepreneurs.
- State Government Engagement: Senior officials from key agricultural and training institutions discuss the IRise project and potential collaborations.
- Mr. Keshav Borkar, Program Head- IRise, SFI, visited Haryana, where he met officials, including Mr. R.C. Jha, National General Manager, Training College, PNB, Delhi; Dr. D.K. Sharma, Professor at CCS HAU, Haryana; Director, Dr. Mukesh Jain, TTC, Hisar, Haryana.
- He also visited Punjab, where he met Sr. Kuldeep Singh Jassowal, Director of Punjab Dairy Development Board, Punjab; Mr. Harpreet Singh, Director of PNB farmers training centre in Sirhind, Fatehgarh Sahib District.
- State Expansion Initiated: Productive meetings led to the launch of 2 training batches in Haryana, with preparations underway to start batches in Punjab.
